While we’re not quite ready to book tickets to jet off on a holiday abroad, we can find ways to channel those European summers right here. So we’re bringing you tips on how to create a perfect Ibiza holiday right here in the UK… don’t believe it’s possible? Well keep reading!

Dine al fresco on a Spanish classic

Pour a tipple locals would drink

 Complete your Ibiza-style meal with the perfect drink! When on holiday we love to sample new and exciting cocktails, however a unique and sophisticated alternative is concocting a Tinto de Verano for your evening of Ibiza cuisine. Tinto de Verano is what you’ll find locals in Ibiza sipping while basking in the sunshine and it’s simple to make - just red wine, soda and a little sugar. 

Failing that, you can combine red wine and coca-cola as a great alternative although it can be slightly potent so watch out!

Head to the beach!

 
Described as a paradise in the UK, Porthcurno beach, located in Cornwall has won several awards and it’s easy to see why. With beautifully fine, soft white sand leading into the clear, turquoise sea surrounded by high cliffs, Porthcurno is an oasis of stunning, natural beauty. On a balmy summer’s day, you could easily mistaken the location for one of Ibiza’s many iconic beaches such as Las Salinas.

For those that don’t want to head that far South West, West Wittering in Chichester is another gorgeous beach with miles and miles of soft white sand for burying your toes.

Snap an exotic pic that could be anywhere but the UK

 On a sunny day, the village of Portmeirion looks like a vibrant, colourful version of Ibiza’s Old Town accidentally transported itself to North Wales. With its pastel-coloured villas, classical colonnades and swaying palms overlooking the turquoise estuary, there are so many photogenic spots for capturing a shot of a summer abroad in Ibiza but right here in the UK.
