Where did the name come from?

D.A.T.E. is an acronym of the names of the four young founders of the project: Damiano, Alessandro, Tommaso and Emiliano.

In 2005, the four of them met up in London and all feeling unsatisfied by their jobs, decided to kickstart an ambitious project to create their own sneaker range.

Pulling together some old machinery, they created a workshop in a garage and met every evening after work to craft sneakers and build their business. Fast forward 15 years and they're now respected artisans selling to sneaker lovers across the world. We're excited to share their amazing work here in the UK.

What makes D.A.T.E. sneakers special?

D.A.T.E. sneakers are created with passion. Every detail is meticulously taken care of, and their sneakers are crafted out of their hometown of Tuscany, harnessing the area's tradition dedicated to leather and design, and putting this into the shoes they make.

D.A.T.E.'s philosophy embraces new trends, eco-friendly materials and creativity, never forgetting their original identity and aesthetic.
